Jack G. Dekovich

Jack Dekovich is a Family Law Attorney who handles child custody, divorce and other family law cases in the Portland Metro Area.

Education and Experience

Jack Dekovich studied history and social science at Michigan State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2007. After graduation and a year of service, Jack Dekovich enrolled at Willamette University, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2012.

During law school, Jack Dekovich spent time working as a law clerk for Willamette University College of Law’s Clinical Law Program and Public Defender of Marion County. After obtaining his license to practice law in Oregon, Jack Dekovich founded The Law Office of Jack Dekovich, where he worked until 2014. From 2015 to 2016, he worked as an attorney at Landerholm Law, LLC. Today, Jack Dekovich works with Willamette Family Law.

Associations and Memberships

Jack Dekovich maintains active memberships is several organizations, including the Classroom Law Project, Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and Multnomah Bar Association. He also serves on the board of Young Musicians and Artists of Oregon. Jack Dekovich was the 2015 Family Law Section Co-Chair for the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.

Approach to Practicing Law

As a Family Law Attorney in Portland, Jack Dekovich sees his vocation as a way to serve the greater good of the community.
